Using your credit card at Mott’s Miniatures is completely safe.
When you use your credit card to shop at Mott’s, please rest assured that the transaction is secure. Our servers use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), an advanced encryption technology that works with Netscape Navigator (versions 2.0 and above), Microsoft Internet Explorer (version 3.0 and above), and America On Line (AOL 3.0 and above). This technology safeguards your personal information and guarantees privacy.  Read more about Safety & Privacy.  Please note that we collect IP numbers of persons who use this web site and place orders, and we cooperate fully with law enforcement officials in the event of fraud.

 

Credit Cards

     We accept credit cards on all orders.   If you are concerned about online safety, see our Privacy & Security page.  If you still do not want to give your credit card out over the internet, click here to learn how to print your order to send it in via fax or mail.

To place an order we will need to know;

  • a) Which card you are using
  • b) Card number
  • c) Name of cardholder
  • d) Expiration date (mm/yy)
  • e) Your signature (on mail or fax orders) Electronic signature on internet orders.
  • f) Daytime telephone number.
  • g) Billing address of the credit card (the bank will decline your transaction        without this).

        It is the responsibility of the customer to provide the Mott’s Miniatures with the complete, correct, and valid credit card number.  If you credit card declines or is otherwise rejected by the bank you are required to provide Mott’s with another valid credit card number to complete your order.  Failure to do so can result in service charges and possibly collections fees.  Typical Declined Transaction Fee is $5 per occurrence.
       Due to credit card fraud, any first-time customer placing an air order, or requesting that an order be sent to an address other than the card holders credit card billing address, or certain other special orders,  may be asked to sign a copy of a sales draft and return it via mail or fax prior to shipment being made.  This helps us verify that the person placing the order is the card holder.  Orders can not be cancelled, refused or returned because of a request to sign an invoice.  Refusal to sign an invoice does not constitute an order cancellation.
    Additionally, Mott's reserves the right to require that customers placing orders from or being shipped to a country on our restricted country list pay for their order with a cashier's check in U.S. funds.
    For the convenience of our customers we accept credit cards.  Due to rising costs and bank fees, Mott’s reserves the right, and the customer pre-authorizes Mott’s to charge the customers credit card for bank and administrative fees associated with any chargeback.  Click here for more details.
    By placing an internet or telephone order with the Mott's Miniatures, the customer is providing an Electronic Signature and agrees to pay all the charges on their order and states that they have read, understood and agreed to the Terms of Use for this web site and the ordering policies posted there in.

Checks

    If paying by check, you must Mail your order along with your payment to our store at:  P.O. Box 693, Placentia, CA 92871-0693, U.S.A. Just print your order out.  Click here to learn how to print out your order.  Orders paid by check will be held ten days pending bank clearance of your check. There is a return cheque charge of $15.00 for NSF checks or Stop Payment checks. All checks and money orders must be in United States currency.  We can NOT accept personal or business checks from NON-U.S. banks.  Orders paid by check are held 14 days before first shipment is made to allow check to clear.

Money Orders

     Orders paid by Postal Money Orders are bank Cashiers Check are shipped immediately upon availability. If ordering from outside the United States, please purchase an International postal money order in US dollars only.    Again, orders paid by money order must be mailed along with your payment.
Gift Certificates    If you have a paper coupon or a paper gift certificate you can redeem them in person with any walk-in order, or you can redeem them with any mail-in order.  Paper coupons and certificates can NOT be redeemed with any fax, phone, or internet order of any kind.  NO exceptions.  Any order received is processed as is when we receive it.
