A magnificent statement in the Antebellum Southern Classical Greek Revival tradition. Harmony and balance make the Rosedawn a pleasure for the eye. The hand turned columns rest on bold bases supporting a magnificent cornice. The windows are large and handsomely proportioned, just as the doors are gracefully crafted. Inside, the rooms are generous in size, welcoming a myriad of decorating ideas. A curved staircase is the special feature of the entrance hall. All together, the whole is a joy to behold. Three floors, 12 rooms. First floor is 11", second and third floors are 10". Scale: 1/12
Rear view of the Rosedawn. Comes packed in a wooden crate.
The Lawbre company does NOT make kits. They build only assembled shell houses or completed finished houses. This house is assembled and finished on the outside. The interior is left blank and ready for you to finish any way you want. These houses are placed in specially built crates and shipped via freight truck (18 wheel truck) and can not be sent via UPS. There is a $110 crating charge for each Lawbre house. All orders must be pre-paid and can take up to 60 days depending on time of year. Availability can be checked once your order is placed. We must have a street address or rural route, no p.o. boxes. Free shipping and other discounts do not apply to assembled houses. Most Lawbre houses are sent freight collect, meaning you write a check to the freight company when the house shell is ready to be shipped to Mott's by the manufacturer.
Once the shell arrives at Mott's we will then custom finish the exterior as shown in the photo with paint and stain and your choice of colors. It will take at least another 60 days from the time we receive it to finish the exterior. Once done, we will drop it off at Craters and Freighters for you and you will pay them directly for crating and shipping costs to then get the house from Mott's to you.
